OBERWESEL - RUDESHEIM

We’ll cruise the currents of the romantic Rhine Valley, passing by the cities of Worms and Mainz before arriving near Sankt Goar and the legendary rock of the Lorelei. A subject of many literary works and poems, the rock is most famously associated with the myth of a beautiful maiden who threw herself from its heights in despair, only to be transformed into a siren who lures fishermen to their deaths.
ONBOARD CONTEST.(1)
We'll arrive in Oberwesel. Included excursion: Reichenstein Castle and lunch with a medieval flair, including music from the era.(2) The oldest parts of the building suggest that the castle was built in the early 11th century, and it is a showcase of German Romanticism in the valley.
After our tour, we’ll return on board and begin to cruise to Rüdesheim.
The famous Drosselgasse with its numerous cafés, bars, and music awaits you tonight! Join us for this soirée and a free glass of local wine for each participant.
