Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 3:00 p.m. at the Quai Claude Bernard. Visit the Christmas market at your own pace. Lovely crafts and gifts, enticing scents, and all-around holiday cheer await you at individual chalet booths decked out for the festivities. We'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail before dinner on board. Enjoy an evening of dancing.

Included excursion: Guided tour of Lyon. Take a tour of France's third-largest city, which sits on the confluence of the Rhône and Saône Rivers. The Fourvière District will give you a sublime view of the city and the colorful banks of the Saône. Some of the other prominent sites you'll see are the town hall on the Place des Terreaux and the Opéra Nouvel (exteriors).
In the afternoon, join us for an included excursion to Vieux Lyon. This history-laden tour will take you along small streets and through the famous short-cut traboules to learn about the city's traditional silk-making industry. Over 400 passageways—vestiges of the once-thriving commerce—crisscross the Croix-Rousse District.
Enjoy time on your own this evening exploring the Festival of Lights. Lyon glimmers, glows, and blazes each year for four straight nights. Lights, video, sound, and live art showcase the exceptional monuments, squares, and buildings on Lyon's Presqu'île.
